Personal history

Maeve attended the Academy in Waterdeep to further her studies and interests in Arcana. A year into her academic journey, her father became ill. Unsure of the illness and its potential effects (other than it becoming noticeably debilitating), Maeve began researching and looking for answers at the academy she was attending. In order to gain access to sensitive information, she began to frequently change into professors and higher individuals. At one ill-timed moment, she ran into the professor she was impersonating and was caught. As punishment for her actions, she was immediately dismissed with a minimum of 1 year barred from the institution with a review at the end of that time to determine eligibility of reinstatement with conditions, or to continue the expellment.
 
Maeve is still trying to find answers about her father's illness as well as find a cure. She has decided to take up adventuring in order to fund and further her research.
