Backstory

Remedy was unnaturally and magically birthed by a powerful coven of malevolent Hags lead by an ancient night hag named Zenevieva located a handful of miles outside of Beurke within the Irid Forest. Her childhood unveils a history of unrivaled cruelty from her parents who'd punish her regularly and inhumanely for disobedience and failure. Always enthusiastic to cause her misery, her mother's would sometimes task her with impossible goals just so they could reprimand her afterwards. Remedy was raised and trained as a tool to lead wayward mortals to her mother's grasp and eventually infiltrate and defile nearby human settlements by eliminating/impersonating prominent political figures and leading them to ruin. Meanwhile, Zenevieva and her hag kin desired to enslave these eventually destitute villages, turning them into flesh and soul harvesting operations treating their inhabitants as cattle. However, Remedy who commonly sought refuge from her bleak existence in books of fairy tales and fables, became fascinated with the festivities of human kind as well as their stories of adventure and had developed a soft spot for those she was to subjugate. While her mother's gave her life and taught her magic, she was essentially a slave to their harsh unwavering ways to which Remedy sought an exodus from.
In silence she began plotting an escape, hoarding expensive material components in small enough amounts to evade detection from her parents to fund such an escapade and praying to anyone or anything for their intervention. Her secretive pleas were eventually answered when she found herself lured into a resplendent forest glade while sorting her thoughts on a lengthy walk. Standing atop the water of a small pond adorned with water lilies was an enormous unicorn named Zelimir. He was the most beautiful thing Remedy had ever laid eyes on. Zelimir, a servant of Lathander, had been made aware of Zenevieva's horrific intentions and sought to disrupt them by liberating Remedy and turning her into an agent of righteousness before things got out of hand. A process that is very much a work in progress as Remedy was hardwired from birth to view all other races as livestock and lived in a coven where torture, enslavement, and the devouring of souls and human flesh was commonplace.
Remedy currently lives a clandestine lifestyle hiding behind various guises originally favoring wandering entertainers and charlatans. Most notably Prestissimo the Fantabulously Splendiferous! A rather boisterous and flamboyant street magician and singer whose face she took from a nobleman she found rather dashing whom she passed in her travels. Due to her mother's desire to recapture her, an effort mostly inhibited by Zelimir's protection, she rarely appears in her true form unless around other's she openly trusts. Her other persona's are as much created for her entertainment as well as necessity.
