Mental Trauma

Luckily Raphael's life so far has not casue any permanent mental traumas. But his combat at the entrance of a cave where he was severely injured, has made him wary of entering one on one fights. Raphael experienced quite a moral dilemma while at the river valut that he and Muerte fell into. Where they met a man that was chained up, Muerte and Raphael tried to save this man, but ultimately this was futile.... Leading them to take the man's life as they thought it was the better option, then to leave the man there as a slave.
 
Haunted by the memories of failed attempts to protect his comrades on the battlefield, Raphael's self-worth has plummeted to depths unknown. Each defeat echoes in his mind, leaving him plagued by feelings of inadequacy and uselessness. Raphael now struggles to find purpose in his role, his once unshakeable confidence shattered into shards of doubt and self-loathing. The weight of his perceived failures has eroded his sense of self-esteem, leaving him a shadow of the warrior he once was, lost in a labyrinth of anguish and despair.

After Raphael's experience at the Chepstow Ball, prison break. When his life was all most taken from him, Raphael now seeks to help those who are weeker and cannot defend themselves. Although Raphael would never pick a fight he knows he will never win, but he damn sure will try to help when he can.
 
In the depths of his despair, Raphael finds himself questioning the very foundations of his existence. Once unwavering in his dedication to protect the people he cares for, he now grapples with the unsettling notion that perhaps everything he stood for was naught but a cruel jest of fate.
 
Doubt gnaws at his soul, tormenting him with relentless questions of worth and purpose. Amidst the turmoil, he wonders if he could ever summon the strength to save others again, his faith in his abilities shattered like glass upon the rocks. Each battle scar, once worn as a badge of honor, now serves as a bitter reminder of his perceived failures, further deepening the chasm of despair that consumes him.
 
In the darkness of his troubled mind, Raphael searches desperately for a glimmer of hope, yearning to rediscover the courage to rise from the ashes of his shattered confidence.
