A brief backstory of Clay

Clay was born in a small tribal village of " " when each child is born they are given a Astrology name along with a name from the earth which they came from. The Chief of the clan noticed this strange magical like swirling pattern on the sides of Clay's head they resembled the faintly glowing Milky Way in the stars above with that the Chief named him Milky Way and since his mother was laying on a pile of soft clay when giving birth to him his final name given was Milky Way Clay.
 
The Chief has never seen a Tabaxi born with a birth mark or pattern on them that animates in the way Clay's does. Maybe it has a meaning or special purpose or effect? But who knows maybe it is just a funky birthmark but only time will tell this cat's tail.
 
As Clay got older he took interest in a Tabaxi known as " Eclipsed Moon Rose " who goes by Moon, She was a trickster and skilled in staying in the shadows, also she was very handy and sneaking off with things that was not hers.
 
"Moon wore dark brown leathers, with a dark green hooded cloak. Golden iron gauntlets and legs plates. With a silver tiara with a green jewel hanging in the center around her head. She carries 2 crossbows and 2 daggers. Her fur is white and black split down the middle with specks through out. Long dark blue hair pulled into a ponytail. Pinkish glow eyes."
 
Clay followed her into a near by town one day populated with all sorts of races and civilization he has never seen before. Keeping his distance and watching her swift moves as she pushed through the crowds swiping money pouches from people without a flinch. Clay was amazed how quickly and swiftly she moved without being noticed. Then she all a sudden ran down a alleyway Clay followed but she vanished right before his eyes. Standing their scratching his head puzzled where she had gone.
 
Clay waited a few minutes looking all around the alleyway to find her and finally decided to head back but soon as he turned around to start walking Moon jumped down from the roof, So Clay why have you been observing me and following me lately she asked tapping her foot. He told her he was just trying to learn to do what she does. She responds so you don't want to be a Hunter like your father or a healer like your mother for the tribe huh? No! He responds I want to make my own path and forge my own destiny and by watching you I think I can learn so much from you and do that. I can rob the rich and help the poor and people in need more than that of a Hunter and Healer for the tribe.
 
She "laughs" well I wasn't looking to apprentice anyone but their is something about you. And that birthmark I have never seen anything like it, I was planning on leaving the village soon and go on many adventures in search of artifacts and legendary items I have heard about "Her eyes widen as she talks about treasure". The village is just to Boring for a Tabaxi like me!. I tell you what if your father and mother allow it you can come with me and I will teach you all I know but if they say no I can not help you.
 
Clay goes and talks to his parents along with Moon by him. They discuss him leaving in search for treasure and learning many useful things instead of staying in the village a curious Tabaxi like him needs his freedom. After a long talk and hot meal the parents agree that he can go with Moon but they would miss their son very much. But he promises to return one day. And so Clay and Moon set off on a journey of a life time for a small mischievous curious Tabaxi.
 
So the epic journey for the Legendary Ball of Yarn and Cat Nip began!.
