Noble 1st 658 RM

It is very cold here in the north and I do not like it. We found a ship buried under the ice near where we slept. How in the world did it get here? All of the crew appear to have been killed and preserved by the ice. Their bones are blackened and their skin has been pulled back away from the bones. My best guess is that these were acid burns. The ship is in tact but everything inside is destroyed. What happened here? From the Captain's notes, it appears he is insane. He rambled on about being pledged to "Her"? My guess is he was talking about Pale Knight because there was an eye of scrying linked to her that we found in the ship. Doro banished it. I feel this is for the best. I am confused and concerned. Does she know we killed the dragon and found the gate? We are now planning to head to Azoicton because Kasius feels that we are not ready for Oberwind. He thinks the girl in his dreams will help us be ready for Oberwind. I have never seen such caution in him concerning a fight. Maybe then this threat in Oberwind is truly something to be wary of. Upon returning to Hearthfell we learned that the rangers from the town had tried to kill us. We learned this because Jackson had a nice talk with them and now all of them and those that helped them are dead. We had to collect Jackson from jail, and the jailer didn't seem to mind but I doubt he could do much about it anyway. We set sail for Azoicton tomorrow.
