Goblin Blood Everywhere

I'm gunna have words for Joe when we get back. He didn't tell me we'd be escorting a damn princess. You bet your ass that's gunna cost extra.
 
I met with the rat and we hit he road. That night, we met the druid just like he said. Named Lynnie. She's a minotaur and traveled with an Ifreet... something. I dunno, he didn't really do anything, he was just traveling with the minotaur. I think he's mage or something. Didn't say much either but he was called Tham. While they were there, the princess showed up, white horse and all. Made sure to wake everybody up too. Least she wasn't one of those 'holier than thou' types. Apparently she's also an escort, though I'm not so sure if she'll be a help or a hinderance. We'll see how she holds up in a fight.
 
Nothing really happened for a few days, but we got ambushed by some goblins before dusk a couple days later. Typically, it was a shitty ambush and we saw it coming. Pretty satisfying fight, honestly. Little messy though. I got a little carried away, dropped my axe and just crushed a few skulls with my bare hands. Hateful little bastards squish real good. Fight went well, just a little scratch. Princess got roughed up a little but she took it like a champ and kept fighting. Good to know she ain't gunna cut and run when things get tough. I can tell she hasn't seen a lot of real fighting.
 
Druids are awesome. Lynnie made water for us to wash up after getting covered in goblin guts. That was cool.
 
That night, all hell broke loose. There was a huge battle north of us, magic flying everywhere. Fireballs lit up the sky. Thankfully they were our guys throwing the spells and the orcs got annihilated. Pretty crazy to see, especially when the dragons showed up. It was a little weird, one of them looked at me funny. Wasn't sure if he wanted to eat me or flirt with me. Apparently Lynnie and Tham had met on of them at some point, not really sure what happened there but they ate the bodies (ew) and left. Maybe next time they can destroy the invading orc hoard more quietly. I was tryin' to sleep!
