Davhorn was from a tribe in the mountains along Xhorhas. High into the snow capped peaks the young dragonborn were told to stick to the mountains and not venture into the forests south of the tribe. Davhorn, spurned by adventure, visions of the forests, and more decided to go into the Forest. He became lost and struggled to survive on his own until one morning he awoke in a tree to a column of smoke in the distance. Advancing he found many footsteps, blood caked snow, and paths where it looks like people had been pulled from the site of combat. The trees surrounding the battle were scared as if pelted with an acid, bits of the ground were scortched. Taking off at a dead run Davhorn finally caught up to the fleeing Dragonborn. As he entered into their encampment he was apprehended immediately by the tribes guardians. Taken to a large tent he was shoved inside and immediately cried in dispair as he spied his father, burned, skin melted, gashed open, and most importantly dead. A large chunk of his fathers neck and shoulder were missing as if bitten off. From a back room one of the Tribes elders emerged and grabbed a grieving davhorn by the neck, dragging him into the next room. Davhorn was held guilty for the deaths of the men, including his father, that were killed while searching for him. The elders accuse Davhorn of "waking him". Sentenced to exile Davhorn was escorted from the camp and into the forest by arrow point.
 
He finished growing up in exile, spending several years in teh forest learning how to forage and survive. Decided his time in the forest was done he left and began traveling across Wildemount and eventually finding his way to the Pallid Grove where he met with pallid elven rangers who taught him how to reach into his own primal state and commune with nature in a way that the spirits of the land, sky, and sea come to aide when called upon. Feeling stronger, older, and wiser Davhorn decided to set out back to his Tribe, determined to right the wrongs that caused the deaths of so many. He booked passage through the menagerie coast and into the empire. Finally boarding an airship he traveled towards bladeguarden, the last big city stop before the path into the mountains.
