Appearance

Physical Description

Muscular, but thinner than her armour implies. It is clear she used to be more well built than she is now, but undeath and low wages have resulted in her physique becoming more gaunt than it once was.

Body Features

Her back is littered with scars. Some of the cuts are deep enough to be fatal. It is a sore spot. She deems backstabbers the lowest of the low. Survival instinct she can respect. Something tells her this was not done out of survival. Too bad she can't identify those who did it. The rest of her is also littered with scars, but those are much shallower.

Facial Features

She has a particularly piercing gaze. Her features might have been delicate on someone else, but they only read as sharp on her. Her cheekbones are more prominent than suits her face, another indication that her undeath has not been treating her kindly. Her face, like her body, is decorated with old scars.

Part of her left ear is poorly sewn up, clearly a patch job that never healed properly.

Personal history

She crawled her way out of her grave after being resurrected by some unknown figure. All she took with her is what she was buried with: mercenary items, her greatsword, chain mail and some holy symbols. The mercenary items were branded with an eight-pointed star, with the points connected by intricate webbing (referencing Lolth), and her insignia indicated she had been very high up in the mercenary company prior to her death. Her name is taken from the name attached to the mercenary gear (Kerym ath Lolth, meaning Sword of Lolth). Her holy symbols were depicted with a clawed hand (referencing Malar). She is an oathbreaker paladin, but is unsure of what oath she broke. These past few years have been filled with nothing but aimless wandering as she struggles to piece together clues of who she once was. Heading to the island represents another attempt to seek answers.

It is clear she either received extensive martial education, or became well-versed in it in her past life. However, while her muscles remember it, her mind does not.

Wandering mercenary. Takes on deals to pay for lodgement.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Was likely extremely well known (at least among the drow) in her past life but has no current well known achievements as of now. All of the tasks she completes are small, quick and easily paid for.

Probably the fact that it's been a few months now and she is still stuck at square one, with only a few glimpses of who she was.

Intellectual Characteristics

Perceptive and sharp. Kerym is good at reading people especially and knowing how to push their buttons to get what she needs. While very strong, she prefers to talk her way out (or intimidate if she lacks the patience for talking) of difficult situations. She is attempting to be well-read but life as wanderer and sparse money doesn't leave much time or ability for reading.

Morality & Philosophy

It's every woman for herself when the going gets tough. She will help others so long as it comes as a benefit to herself. However, she does some inclinations towards kindness and empathy and keeps herself to a very strict moral code. She refuses to fight those she deems weaker and never gets involved in petty, personal politics. Voicing one's opposition to philosophies is necessary, but never linger in a verbal argument over it. Never kill someone already on their knees. And no backstabbing. She is not against intimidation or dirty tactics in the slightest, but refuses to stoop to using them against people incapable of defending themselves against it.
