Malak's Background

Personality Trait: I often use humor to deflect attention.
Ideal: Aspiration. I will use anything and everything at my disposal to move up in the world.
Bonds: i was raised by gun runners/war profiteers after my parents were lost in the Claiming. They took me in and trained me in espionage and gun running.
Flaw: I am always looking for the quickest exit. I sit so that I can see everyone, and every entrance and exit in the room.
 
As a child, my parents were sent to Nyss to open trade routes with my Trollkin Clan. Even after they were able to successfully establish relations, they elected to stay in Nyss as defacto diplomats and expand the relationship between the two lands. Everything was going well, then came the Claiming.
 
I lost both my parents to teh Claiming and I was just a teen. My world, the entire realm, had been thrown into chaos. I was forced to live on the street. My natural guile, charm, innate magical ability, not to mention my Trollkin hardiness, allowed me to survive in the foreign land that was my home.
 
My ability to survive, alone, and even thrive brought me to the attention of an up and coming gang in Nyss, the Untamed. Several of their agents had come across my path and I had even done some freelance work for them on minor jobs. The agents were impressed enough to make the initial introductions with the Untamed leadership. The rest is history.
 
I was inducted into the gang and trained as an operative. Given my natural charm and calm, cool demeanor they showed me how to run guns and skirt the law in order to make a profit. I learned quickly, surpassing the abilities many who had been with group much longer than me. When it came time for the Untamed to expand, I was given the task of setting up a new route in Corvis.
