Me and my friends are sharing what we stole then I heard the police. “Run” I whisper quietly to my friends hoping the police didn’t hear me. We all spread out hidden from the law. “surrender yourselves! ” a cop yells “or we’ll arrest you by force” they continue. I look out the peep hole in the barrel I’m hidden in and I see my friend Ginger who is in a really bad hiding spot. The police officers are getting closer to Ginger. Today Ginger had stolen a really expensive necklace that was “made by mermaids.” Obviously mermaids don’t exist and it was just a scam You should be thanking her. Ginger is in very big trouble if I don’t do something fast. I jump out of the barrel alerting the police I was there and run as fast as I can. It’s a high speed chase on foot. I make a quick turn they follow I make another turn they are still hot on my tail. I climb up a ladder they are still following me.It was time, I start running even faster and jump from the rooftop. I have a small moment of relief when my feet landed on the nearby building but it didn’t last very long. I continue running to get back to my hideout
