Leaving Home

Father woke me this morning, today is the day that I set sail for the mainland. As I write this I'm still not sure what to expect I'll find when I get there. Greedy humans, who only care about their own personal wealth as the destroy beautiful forests? Or perhaps hordes for beastmen, looking to only kill and conquer? Either way, I must remain strong in my mission to preserve the land from those that would seek to cause it harm. The tribe has sent many druids before me, never to return home, only to stay stalwart in their mission. I hope I can meet some of them, it would be nice to see someone from home when it's so far away. But for now, I must focus on getting there. I'm to disguise myself as a human and board a ship, the next one to leave is bound for a place called Germania, it will take a few weeks to get there. May the tribe's ancestors watch over me.
