Dour, unfriendly, judgmental

Thorgrim is short, even for a dwarf. His demeanor and phsyique is one of battle hardened seriousness and his eyes are plain to read: he has seen much loss. Calloused and gnarled hands grip weapons with ease, as years of his youth were spent in the forge. Sole survivor of a twig blight attack, he took the responsibility of their loss upon himself. Despite his physical combat prowess, when the moment for valoe arose, his cowardice won the day and he ran. He has forever since been haunted by that day, and sought never again to lose another band of loyal followers. The campaign to liberate phandelver, and investigate the mines nearby took a heavy toll on him. After the loss of Aethne, a druid, he decided to depart and wander alone, as twice then he lost members of his company. Better to be alone and die alone, than let others down.
