Personal history

Found as an injured, starving patchy furred toddler. Young Patches was taken in by members of the Oakspire Wardens during a mission. The adventurers quickly learned there was no family to return the child, now affectionately dubbed Patchy, to.

Patches returned to the guild with her new caretakers and was quickly adopted by the members as one of their own. Raised and trained primarily by the guilds resident healer Master Jeriko, Patches took to medicine faster than language and maintained her nickname for 'Patching up' her guild mates alongside Jeriko as she grew up. After a couple of years, everyone agreed a 'real' name was needed. Patches didn't remember her old name so they gave her the new one, Patchouli.

Patches grew older and more skilled with medicine and magic. The guild grew bigger too, adventuring further, working harder, friends came back injured more and more, some did not come back at all.

After 20 years in Twin Rivers she got sick of waiting for her guildmates to come to her, travelling days with severe injuries to get treatment. More then old enough to join officially, Patches enrolled for the next initiates exam. Her goal; become a registered member of the Wardens and travel with other members to provide treatment and support on their dangerous missions.

Many of the older guild members are uneasy with the idea of her joining the fights but Master Jeriko is excited to see how she and her skills will grow once she steps beyond his sadly limited teachings.

Education

taught the ways of medicine healing and basic defensive combat by the members of the guild. she was an extremely curious child and the guild and town members were all happy to help her expand her knowledge but she never received any official schooling.

Employment

apprentice under Healer Jeriko for many years she had a small allowance and lived within the guild who happily covered most of her needs

Morality & Philosophy

Help over harm, she knows how to protect herself because she isn't naive, but she'll help whoever she can where possible and chooses to believe that we are all good people in a hard world and some just aren't strong enough to stay nice.
