Childhood
 
 
Reyna is adopted between the ages of 3 and 6. Though she may not remember much, she has repressed abandonment trauma. Reyna worries about people in her life leaving and can be a bit clingy.
 
 
 
Her father, at the age of 18, adopted the poor orphan. He is not an experienced parent and does not succeed at all aspects.
 
 
 
Marz’s family is new nobility, but the status cannot coincide with rearing a child touched with demonic energy. The Lancaster family likes Reyna, probably even loves her, but distances themselves from her creating a rift in their relationship. In response, Marz tries to impart on her to be a “noble person” rather than a noble. The two do not live with the main family.
 
 
 
Marz has a domestic partnership with a strong-willed woman. She defies her father and attempts to go against traditionalism, but does not have skills in battle or adventuring landing her begrudgingly in a homemaker role. She tries to impart on Reyna that she can do whatever she wants and do anything that is traditionally male. She still engages in many activities that are traditionally female with Reyna, allowing her to still have a feminine side. Her and Marz raise Reyna a bit unconventionally compared to their parents.
 
 
 
As a child she wanted to be a hero. She is bullied but able to defend herself. To be a hero, she helps those who cannot help themselves but often has to accept that as a tiefling, the victims she saves sees her as scary and sometimes almost monstrous.
 
 
 
College
 
 
 
Reyna joins the Bard’s College under the suggestion of her father. Using his family's wealth to let her explore her talents to find what she wants to do. After a while she enters the College of Swords.
 
 
 
Meets a girl named Samatha who becomes her friend. While Reyna’s parents always pushed her to find her potential, Sam let her know that its okay to be comfortable and take care of herself. Reyna also doesn’t have to prove that she is not a monster and should recognize her own beauty. Reyna has feelings for this girl but doesn’t recognize it and no relationship past friendship is developed. Reyna also makes a series of other friends including a rival in a stuck up high elf.
 
 
 
Adventures
 
 
 
After she graduates she meets a Valkyrie and offers to help them in their journeys purely out of kindness. Though she is not a Valkyrie she adventures with them for a while and is trained under them. She finally feels that she can be a hero for others.
 
 
 
Where do we go from here?
 
 
 
During the 3 days she attends Zalebathador’s funeral and then isolates herself. She works through her emotions with meditation and training with fellow Valkyries in hand-to-hand combat. She reflects on the defeat of Hournal Coalbasher and what she should do now that he is technically dead. She also wonders if there is a way to bring Marzierno back to life.
 
 
 
Roleplaying things:
 
 
 
Chandler is her favorite travelling companion. She looks to him to maybe find some sort of emotional support. He wants to make people feel better and tries his best with emotional issues but takes a while to warm up.
 
 
 
Reyna sees Ambrose as weird and abrasive and Elias as a leader. Her relationship with Wilfrik started out rocky, but they both talked to each other openly about Marz’s death after a while. Their relationship is not open, however as Reyna begins to uncover mysteries she must confront the secretive Wilfrik with.
 
 
 
Play up possible insecurities-
 
 
 
-A sort of reasonable fear of Reyna’s is that she will not figure out what to do with her life now that her biggest foe, the one she pledged her life to defeat, has died.
 
 
 
-An unreasonable fear is that she will never find a role in the party and that they will all leave her behind. That they have only stayed with her because they liked her father. In reality, the party has a stronger and longer bond with Reyna. What fears have to be rational though?
 
-Reyna has a complicated relationship with her femininity. Maybe one day she plays with flowers. Maybe for a party she dresses very nicely in a gown. Maybe she just does her hair more nice than utilitarian. If she has any feminine side that she is not blatantly trying to hide, it would show.
