Average sized for a halfling, nothin in particular stands out for him outside of the clown suit and make up

Facial Features

Clown make up with sharp edges to the blacks, the only color on his face is his once red, now sun faded pink clown nose.

Identifying Characteristics

Appearance wise, truly only the clown-ery makes him stand out, but his distinct musk of cabbage and well mildew truly lets you know it is the one and only Plown.

His trusted clown suit and nose! Along with a gathering of notes and scribbles he nailed together one night.

Personal history

Plown was left with a monastery as a young halfling, before he could even remember his parents. He never learned to speak, as all of the monks in the monastery were under going silent vows and would hit him if he made any noises. They attempted to teach him the ways of the open hand, but it never quite stuck with Plown. He left in the middle of the night at 15 to go find out what was in the world, as sad lonely boys are want to do. Plown then realized that everyone else also had about 3 ft of height on him,, and they would definitely use their advantage against him. Traveler's would rob him of everything they had, which wasn't much coming from a monastery. And all he could do was cry silently to himself, still following the rules of the monks as much as it pained him to as he knew no other way. Then he saw it. Down the road was music, laughter, thrills! He found the circus! He made his way inside, where he found other halflings and folks he could size up with. He realized he loved the merriment and the noise! But for whatever reason, he could still make no noise. It saddened him to no end. One halfling, a clown named Chuckle McGoobster, took Plown under his wing! That's how Plown got his name, Chuckles wasn't feeling very original at the time. Plown studied under Chuckles and learned how to merge what he had learned at the monastery with the ways of the funny haha. But alas, he still could not speak. What clown could not speak? Plown set off, writing a note in crude common for Chuckles, in the few words he had learned to read and understand:
 
"Plown sad cLown. Plown Go speek. back soon."

Education

None to speak of, outside of what Chuckles and the monks taught him about clowning and fighting, respectively.

Employment

Trained with a travelling circus that made rounds near the area of salt marsh, but none at the moment. At least not what Plown would consider work anyways.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Plown is rather good at what he wants to do and has shown on multiple occasions that he is smarter than he presents.

Mental Trauma

During his time at the monastery, Plown's development appears to have been stunted by his treatment. The silent oath plus the brutal training took a toll on his mind, leading to some odd behaviors, to include his muteness. It may have done it consciously or it could have been psychosomatic, but he won't let anyone know either way.

Intellectual Characteristics

Plown is actually incredibly smart and a quick learner! Social Graces just aren't his thing though.

Plown at the start of the the Dark Veil Campaign is out for himself. He is trying to get on his feet and find out who he is and what he is doing in this world. But he is going to do it his own way!
