Body Features

Physically changed by her exposture to celestial energy. Her skin has taken on a glass-like quality, almost shimmering in sunlight. Her teeth glow, and her eyes appear to have smoke drifting out of them.


She now has a tattoo over her heart of a sun and moon joined/overlapped, a golden lyre, and a broken crown sitting atop a lilypad. This tattoo will expand to depict future events as a living memoir of Kass's life.

Identifying Characteristics

Kassandra is easily recognized by her vibrant red hair, and the features that changed when she became Fleshwarped, most notably the smoke from her eyes.

Apparel & Accessories

Kassandra's casualwear consists of light-colored jeans or khakis with a dark shirt and an oversized forest green coat, similar to a bomber jacket.

Mentality

Personal history

Born the daughter of King Priam and Queen Hecuba of Ilion, Kassandra was a princess of a wealthy, thriving city with a strong military and commerce. She is one of many children, though most notably:

About a year ago, Kassandra fell in love with the god Apollo, and he gifted her with the attunement to the lore of the world, but even a god of prophecy could not foresee the effects prolonged exposure to his celestial being would have on a mere mortal. As a result, her body was warped, and her mind left vulnerable to the overwhelming nature of the cosmos. Her sanity flickers if she uses her gift too much, but she can rarely resist the temptation to reach out to her love.

After her change, about six months prior to joining the party, Kassandra was initially kept locked up in a fairly isolated tower of the palace, with various doctors/healers trying to help her get back to her old self. When it became apparent that their efforts weren’t working, Kassandra proposed an alternate solution to her father, Priam. She would go out into the world, without her title or anyone to know who she really is, to seek a cure on her own. Truthfully, Kassandra’s hope is that she can either master the cosmic energy through usage (not unlike exposure therapy in smaller doses), or reach Apollo herself so that she may take her place by his side. She left home about two months ago.

Education

She is very well-educated by the tutors her parents hired for her, as were all of her siblings. She was trained very specifically in war strategy, by her father's behest, and diplomacy, per her mother's instruction.

Employment

Kassandra is currently an adventurer with The Guild.

Mental Trauma

Kassandra's mind has been fractured by her exposure to celestial/cosmic energy and lore. While she is able to maintain control over it most of the time, the effects are more prominent as she exerts herself. Initially she is more distracted and slower to react. Prolonged usage of her abilities eventually leaves Kassandra temporarily unable to communicate.

Morality & Philosophy

Generally speaking, Kassandra believes in the greater good and working to do as much good while doing as little damage as possible. Having been trained in warfare, she understands that casualties may occur, but she will work to minimize them wherever possible.
 
She also has a very strong sense of responsibility, and she believes that if one is in a position of power or leadership, then they have a responsibility to the people they rule over to provide security and stability.

Religious Views

Kassandra was raised worshiping Athena, as her mother is particularly devout. However, she was drawn to Apollo and is now very devoted to him.
