How she was "found"
Ivanna turned up on the doorstep of the Beauregard family just as they were heading in from decorating the yard for Halloween. A letter was tied with a loose ribbon around her neck, like a necklace. By the time the family had finished cleaning her up and setting up a space in their home for her the clock had just struck midnight. That is when Madame Beauregard turned to Ivanna and said "Happy Birthday phantom child"
Truth is a knight had been ordered to give the child to the family after having narrowly escaped from their home. Erasing it's memories so that the child could choose wether to go back or not, of it's own will and not out of duty or pressure... The knight still looks own and monitors her growth from a far awaiting the day.
