Personal history

The Amastacia Clan have always been known for having good fighters. As such many of the elves of this clan joined the continent’s military. Tyrion Amastacia, Theo’s father and one of the council members of the clan has always worked the clan members rigorously, his sons especially. Theo would rather read books and watch the clan’s resident blacksmiths’ make weaponry. His father showed favouritism towards Theoden’s older brother, however Theo didn’t mind as much. He only felt ashamed and terrified of his father. He would be punished for trivial things like holding his sword wrong or making a mistake in combat, as such Theo left fighting to his brother. His mother, Lestia didn’t much care for him and his brother, it felt more like a painful obligation on her part. He found his clan to be quite stifling and when his brother proposed an adventure…he jumped at the chance to escape this hell. He wanted to live a life filled with joy, fulfilled desires and freedom.

Mental Trauma

From a young age, Theo's father, Tyrion would push his sons to become the best fighters. The Amastacia Clan was known for producing good soldiers who eventually became a part of Mimidia's military. Theo always disliked fighting, he was never good at it. His father would remind him about what a useless fighter he was and a disgrace to the clan. Whenever he got a stance wrong or held the weapon wrong, his father would punish him. Things like forcing him to practice for hours with no breaks, throwing him in the storage cabin at night till the next day. One day, his father went too far with his punishment and locked him in the catacombs. Terrified out of his mind, in a panic hazed Theo called out to the God, Xonas. Theo begged him to save him. Xonas agreed to save him and help him achieve his heart's desire, as long as he agreed to spend time with him every now and again. Theo and Xonas built a close friendship, filled with inside jokes, earthly tales and loud laughs. (An agreement like persephone and hades, Theo spends autumns in Xonas realm and the rest on earth)
 
Even with Xonas as his patron, the emotional abuse continued along with the horrid punishments of locking him in the catacombs. Sometimes, it'd be for days...he would stay curled up in a corner crying his eyes out. Xonas once mentioned the word dancing to him, child Theo started to teach himself dancing thinking it was all he could currently offer to Xonas being too young to give him anything else.
