Personal history

Bonjour, mon ami. Lean in close and allow me to regale you with a tale of revolution. The tale of the Last Laugh.
My people were never meant to be here in Greyacre. But over the last 60 years, we have made it our home. In our village, everyone is equal and everyone is free. We drink, we dance, and we since liberally. But for my whole life, we have been under attack by those whose only desires are oppression of the weak and dominion over all. My fellow satyrs have been disappearing. A few here, a few there. Every one of them leaving a hole in the hearts of those left behind.
 
I was always special among my kind - my skill with a quill is undeniable, and I can hold my own in a sword fight. I knew I was born for greater, more grave endeavours than galloping and waiting for kidnap or great loss. At just 20, I announced that I had had enough of our oppression, and I set out to do something about it.
 
I took my musical prowess and my unmatched wordsmithery, and introduced myself to the Bonnellons as Jovial, the most satirical lyrical jester in Greyacre. I fooled them all into giving me their ears. I juggled and played and cartwheeled for their amusement, and of course, I plied them with drink. I learned all about their pathetic plans to use satyrs to break into Stoneview. And I befriended all the poor souls they kept in the court for their amusement. Fellow satyrs - they think it's funny to have satyrs as satires or something. Some sick joke, allo! We trained together under the dark cloak of night, and called ourselves the Dark Fools.
 
The longer I spent there, the more powerful I became. I awoke one day to find my body covered with brass dragon scales. I had awoken a fire that was somewhere deep inside me all along. Disguising my newfound strength, I gathered my band of Dark Fools, and together we liberated the miners and stormed the estate, laying waste to our oppressors in the name of liberation. Viva la revolution! Viva la resistance!
 
But, zut alors, our nemesis, Connie Bonnellon, escaped our clutches. I have been searching for her ever since. Her trail has gone cold and my Fools have abandoned all hope. I must have justice for my people, and then finally the Last Laugh will be mine.

Education

I was schooled by the songs of my forebearers. As a slave of the Bonnelons, I was scamming for every book I could get my hands on, retreating and reading every treatise on the shelf.

Employment

No merci beacoup. I am a free man.
