A stocky and ill-tempered Dwarf, Adrik Frostbeard hails from the snowy peaks of Morgrim where he has lived his entire life. His force of will and stoicism is one to be rivaled and feared by his enemies.

Appearance

Adrik is a stocky dwarf , with brown eyes and a long beard, he's skin is pale due to growing up in the mountains of Morgrim. He is slightly taller than most dwarfs standing at 5ft tall. 

 

Personality

Adrik faces problems head-on. He prefers , a simple and direct solution as he believes that is the best course of action and will curve a path of success. Adrik is stubborn as most dwarfs are , and is prideful of his homeland and its culture
 
 

History

It is the year 2125 KE, for 20 years now, the land of Pelagus has had increasing tides, and it is at this point in time, that Adrik Frostbeard is born in the mighty city of Morgrim.
During this time, Adrik was raised by his father Gulgrom and his Mother Brilla and growing up he was told constantly of the Dwarves past and how it has shaped them into a strong, self-sustaining tribe.
 
In his early years, up to his 15th year of living, he was trained in basic combat and smithing by his Father, as his Father worked for the Dwarven Army. His Mother, constantly told him about their history as a reminder that he needs to remain stoic and strong, even when your friends may not answer your cry for help.
 
When Adrik was 16 years of age, the Unda Tsunamis began, but as his home was in the mountains, there was not a large area for concern due to their confidence and reliability in the high ground.
 
Approaching his 17th year, the Levakins approached from the east, south and west, forcing the nation of Pelagus into an all out war. Being a healthy, sturdy 17 year old, Adrik became a soldier in defence of his home against the Levakin.
 
For the next 48 years, the land was ravaged by the Levakin, and Adrik fought long and hard, winning the approval of his superiors and being promoted to Officer. Adrik was now 65 years of age, becoming an adult during these hard times.
 
Unfortunately, during the course of the war, his Father and Mother were both slain, during a siege on Kargron, as his parents were ordered to help the Dwarves there with provisions, weapons and armor. Adrik, finally receiving this information, during a harrowing attack on Morgrim, he hastily made his way to Kargron, killing any and all Levakin in his way, in a blind rage, to find the bodies of his deceased parents.
 
Adrik was not able to find the bodies of his parents, but returned to Morgrim with news that the Levakin at Kargron had been somewhat held back.
 
During the last few years of the war, the Levakin were held back due to a special artifact used by King Val Bar, with the help of Ataum the Magna, to push back the Levakin, and eventually made them retreat.
 
During that time, Adrik came to terms with the loss of his parents, and a mass burial of Dwarves was held in the mountains of the Conurbation of Morgrim, this mountain later became known as The Mountain of the Departed. The year was 2190 when the war officially ended.
 
Now, it is 2200, 10 years after the war and Adrik is now 75 years of age and addressed as an Seasoned Officer of the Dwarven Army.
 
During this year, an Elvish Scout enters Morgrim in hopes of giving Adrik a message from the Invythalas Empire about a favour they require of him.
 
Receiving this message, Adrik prepares for the journey to Tadun, anxious for what he is needed for.
