Personal history

Adopted by her Gati (Tabaxi) parents when they found her in their shed. She had a necklace with her.

At around 6 years old she started showing signs of magical abilities that were hard to control. Her companion Tohru was gifted to her by his spirit Malba mother when she gets so frightened after once of her wild magic surges and ventures into the forest alone. Tohru has called her sister all his life (even when Raya has tried to get him to call her by her name, he just prefers this) they can speak telepathically and Tohru sounds kinda like Mufasa)

All her life she struggles with this magic and kids have bullied her for is and others in the community have tried to keep their distance. feeling a need to prove herself, in her twenties she stopped being a recluse and proved she could be helpful, taking on odd jobs and eventually gaining a good reputation with the locals. shes just known as accident prone now.

After a particularly bad surge one night she goes to seek raja one last time for guidance. he provides her with comfort, but cannot help and that is when shes visited by that weird guy who tells her where she should go.

Education

Typical education in these parts, no university, but she reads a lot of books (trying to seek help for her magic, how to do certain skills for jobs, etc.) shes quite knowledgeable about things you wouldnt think she knows about.
