Group has just lost last Cultist whose head exploded before any helpful info. They are in a dungeon room in the mountain.
 

Krixi tried to open portcullis but couldn’t

Rogan examines tapestries in the room- dragon, angry water elemental goblin things, ogre, bugbear, ettercap, priest with zombie coming out of ground, noses with wings

Renesaya notices something interesting about statue in centre, Drow woman half upper with spider lower body, like others but bigger and more important. At bottom, wheels like code input for locker. 8 discs with characters

DEHBHADH? Doesn’t work

Rogan knows the language is Abyssal

Raiann tries Diahreas, but no luck

Rogan tries TORRENT- not enough letters

Ares breaks right through the portcullis

Room with drow and spider stuff, lots of purple, Ares breaks through next door with lots of webs, ripped and tattered robes, bricks on floor are shaped like spider web

Other hallway goes to dead end with pile of ash, Krixi sees frost marks and burn marks

Renesaya looks behind tapestry on far wall and finds a door with hall extending, iron door on left side and more doors further down

Ro , Ra and A go into spiderweb room and see the robes have web designs

A tries iron door but gets stuck in webs

Ra tries to cut him out, but then they hear the pitter patter of spider feet (epic fight music ensues)

Ra takes off and leaves A, spider comes at A and bites at him

Re rushes and shoots but brutally misses

Krixi and Ra hits, spider shoots web at Krixi but misses

Re shoots gets arrow stuck, A javelins and hits

Finally kills spider. Group decides the hidden hall is probably where the thing is that cultists want to find, since scorch and ice marks are in other hallway and voices behind spider room iron door, they prob didn’t find the hidden hall

Down hidden hall, enters room with big spider statue

Hears voices - hobgoblin - getting back son and husband, malefactors won’t be able to stop us getting them back

2 cultists standing guard, chest near them

Group decides to go back and gut the spider they just killed, A wears the body with the tattered robes to try to convince the guards that he is an angry revenge spider god, performance failed, hears them preparing fire balls

Rest of us hide behind tapestries

Ra stabs one and intestines come out, he slaps her with it

Kill dem

Re loots the cultists treasure chest

Frothy light green potion with dark green flakes in it x2

Greater healing x3

Can’t carry, gives to rest of group - very begrudgingly

Goes through hallway, comes to room with 8” pyramid in middle, 4 cultists, one is high priest holding sword with blue glowing runes on it and frosty gas coming off

Giant spider statue

K shoots high priest but misses

Re shoots one of their balls off

Priest casts pyrotechnics which fills room with thick smoke

Cultist shoots flame wave at everyone and Ra takes big damage

Big green flash coming from room, sounds like coming from top of pyramid, and sound like BURRRAAAGGGHHHHHHH

A hits one and he goes flying into green fog and poofs

2 cultists run away, fog dissipates

Re cuts off other ball

A and Ro follow Priest out of the hall which goes to a cliff on side of mountain, riding on a manticore which is a lion dragon thing with creepy humanoid face

Ro expertly hits with thrown dagger, and then Preist hits with a 60ft cone of freezing and turns him into an icicle

After healing him and priest escaped, A looks on pyramid and finds clay shards and green energy fading away

On spider woman statue in pyramid room, in abyssal it says LOLTH

Noticed huge painted mural on wall, thick wavy stroke of crimson, feinthish female figure cowering from yellow light nearby

A checks nutless guy - finds health potion, 2 gold pieces and scroll : from Edrar (priest) meeting with leader of western league in Hillview

Ro pees on one remaining cultist to wake him up for interrogation
A fakes genuinely looking for a temple, and learns that there is a temple UNDER Hillview
Tells there are 7 regional leagues
Nw: drageth, before tells western league leader, head explodes
 
Hillview: there is an official temple in Hillview, but also ancient temple underneath that no one knows about that they are looking for
 
This is place is called Lolth temple, near Zheshao
We know torrent will bring their loved ones, requires destroying godly relics
We need to get to Hillview ASAP to ensure relics don’t get destroyed and brings torrent
