Twenty-one years ago, Jack Bottom was a spy in Ailre, one of the best in the organization. However, he broke the number one rule: he fell in love. The object of his affection was Agatha, a pretty housemaid in the household of one of the top lords. While she wasn’t beautiful, nor was she ugly—just average—she was head over heels in love with Jack. They managed to hide their relationship well for a while, but when Agatha became pregnant, Jack knew he had to come clean to the organization and marry her. However, he wasn’t ready to give up his life as a spy. When the boss kicked him out, he decided to create his own organization. He was surprised to find many of his fellow spies willing to join him. Jack and Agatha had a daughter named Tina, who became the greatest joy in their lives. For years, he built up his spy organization, teaching Tina everything he knew. She picked up the skills quickly and seemed to have a natural talent for spying. By the time she was ten, her mom went out for a simple job but never returned. Jack mobilized all his men and women to find her, but after two years without any news, he returned to building the best spy network in Ailre and surrounding nations. Tina excelled in her spying training; she was the best at decoding and even created a special code for herself and her dad. It was simple enough: each letter of the alphabet corresponded to a number—A was 1, B was 2, C was 3, and so on. The unique twist they added was that they would sum the number of the next letter. For example, since A was 1 and B was 2, in their code, A plus B would equal 3, which makes A=3. So, B became 5, and continued in that manner. 6:37 PM Tina was also skilled with dual-wielded daggers during fights, as they could be easily concealed. She became one of her dad's best spies until one day, while undercover at a lord's house, the lord's son was found dead in his room. Tina was a suspect and, in fear, she ran away. Wanted posters with her face appeared everywhere, and although she was eventually found innocent, the damage was done—everyone now recognized her, and not even the best disguise would work. Left with no choice, she had to stay in hiding and work from there, which she despised. Two months ago, one of her dad's best spies claimed to have seen her mother after all these years of false information. It was hard to believe, but now that Tina had nothing better to do and the information came from a reliable source, she and her dad thought it might be worth checking out.
