session 100: The morning is tense. I would have to ask them individually, but I sense hesitation. This can not be. They must understand that they are no longer in their home plane. A plane that has it's own peril and danger for sure, but here - the very air you breathe has the inclination to kill you. The very mention of the Red Dragon "Rashiguz The Blazebringer" ran Valen's blood cold (even here) and he did retreat to the privacy of observatory to meditate. The arrival of our steeds, fierce "Nightmares" summoned from the pits below, provides me with an opportunity to show them how things must be done here. Borosh, has summoned his own Steed. This is probably for the best - for now. His perception and concept of "good and evil" will be tested here. I am not walking this mortal coil to convince anyone how to believe or act, but whilst they are here on this plane, they are my responsibility - my charge - my Guests. I will not allow harm to come to them if I can prevent it. As for any mental anguish - I can not be responsible for the mental prisons some of us have had imposed upon us when challenged - nor the damage to the chains that shackle them once broken. I retreat to my testing chamber, where I have stored the necessary components. Two large buckets full of blood and large animal organs. "Do you need help carrying those?" asks Valen as he returns from his sanctuary. I did not need help carrying the buckets, but I do insist he follows me out to the yard. "All of you, please follow me." to Borosh, " You will not need to participate, but those of you who wish to control you steed must bond with it, lest it ignore your requests and risk it devouring you." I reach into the bucket and pull out a large black heart, perhaps that of a boar or cow. Holding it up for all to see I sink my fingers into it until it bursts. I rip it in half, smearing the blood across the Nightmare's face and then my own. I feed it the heart and name the fiend "Lament" I look to the others and then the buckets. "Now you." It is a full night and day before we reach the Dragon's lair, during which we concoct a loose plan to engage with the Dragon. This would be my first time engaging in combat with a creature this powerful, and if I'm being honest, I wasn't that keen to learn the extent of it's abilities. I show the others how to shift planes, using the innate abilities of our Steeds. The battle although vicious was mercifully short. Well - merciful to us. Perhaps I will sit and record the specifics of the fight some day, but for now, it is enough to know that we were victorious. Now to find the Silver Chest and see what other treasures lie within. Session 100: Going on a Dragon Hunt

Session 99: I worry for Borosh. Such stern opposition - assumed moralities, locked in without question. There were signs, I saw them early, but was not concerned. That is until we required transportation. I was able to get us two nightmares, and the RDs procured 3 more. Borosh however, seemed appalled at the thought of riding these glorious creatures. My analytical mind wants to jump to conclusions. Easy ones present themselves immediately, but they are not satisfying. I thought to ask him, but he seemed to find a solution, a steed of his own to summon, and time was of the essence so i put a pin in it. i can't help but wonder, though - Does he believe me to be evil? If so why? If not --- why not? and if why not --- then what now?
