Another Dream...

Shadows and swirling mist....There is a short, hunched-over figure in front of me. The mist moves, and the figure turns into another, this time tall and slim
 
A flash of light
 
I'm on a battlefield, riding into the fray on a white horse. Bolts of lightning streak across the dark sky as my vision is filled with explosions and fire. I look down at my hands...but they're not mine...they're....flesh and bone??
 
In my hand I carry a dagger: a long curved blade of elegant design (elven silver?). On the hilt is text in a language I do not recognize, but can read:
 
Born to Protect
Raised to Rise
As a.....
 
The rest is cut off by the fingers of the hand I do not recognize
 
A flash of light brings me back to my senses. A streak of fire soars across the sky towards my position. I scream out in a language I should not know as I jump awake, safe in the bed of the tavern we are currently residing in. Evangeline looks to me with worry as I leave the room in a rush...Sindarin clenched tightly in my hand as I fight to remember as much of this dream as I can before it fades...
