Astar is a socially awkward, nervous pyro, though his pyromania is anything but intentional. His cloak and bandages cover any significant physical figures, though his scarring indicates this is for the best.
Astar is definitely not what comes to mind when you think of your average spell caster. While most sorcerers fight with their power in order to prevent it from hurting their allies, Astar fights to prevent it from hurting himself. He is obviously on a losing streak. Astar's tendency to light small fighters simply for being present makes it difficult to find proper lodging and even more difficult to avoid arson charges. Additionally, he seems to be incredibly inexperienced through the application of his own magic, often letting it radiate off of him due to his lack of control over the heat that emanates from his body. While he isn't very talkative when not producing sarcastic commentary, he seems to have a severe aversion to divine magic, as well as of going to or talking about his home town. While Astar is not fond of drawing attention to himself, it is rather difficult to avoid that with the heat of the human torch and the bandages of a traumatic parapalegic who was dipped in molten rock.

Appearance
Physical Description
Astar is scrawny and, while not short, seems half-starved no matter how much you feed him. The man looks half dead most of the time and half alive the rest.
Body Features
Astar has few visible body features, though the few instances where you can see any given part of him reveals horrible burn scarring that covers half his body and relatively messy blonde hair.
Identifying Characteristics
Astar is perpetually covered in bandages and his cloak, both of which he somehow manages to keep clean despite wearing the same thing daily.
Physical quirks
Astar's burn scars are by far his most notable characteristic. With how much of his body they cover, it is surprising he is even still alive.
Mentality
Personal history
Astar is not very forthcoming with information, and the vast majority of his comments have little to no actual substance. He probably comes from a pretty chaotic background given his physical appearance and personality, but the vague excuses he gives as to why or when he came to Harold's Keep leaves much of his life up to the imagination.
Personality
Motivation
Astar seems to have a surprisingly intact moral compass, which is certainly weird for someone who has very obviously not had the most pleasant life. He seems to have a strict aversion towards bandits, slavers and other shady organizations, ironic since he looks as though he would fit into many of these organizations himself.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Astar is obviously not very bright, if his poor test scores are any indication. He is also extremely weak due to his skinny physique, though he seems to be surprisingly good with medicine. His smaller frame allows him to sneak around with relative ease, and he shows a strange affinity for people, as much as any social outcast can at least.
Hygiene
For someone so covered in bandages and scarring, Astar is surprisingly Hygienic, though this is likely due to his limited experience in medicine. However, most of his cleaning seems to be out of necessity rather than personal preference.
Social
Birthplace
Frostward Graveyard
Current Residence
Wherever these dipshits decide to drag him
Contacts & Relations
Astar has seemingly no relations to anyone aside from the acquaintances of the party. However, he and Frenzli seem to share a mutual recognition, though it is anything but pleasant.
Religious Views
Astar seems to avoid any form of divine magic or intervention entirely, becoming obviously uncomfortable at its mention or use. However, in a world such as Pangea-Ultivate, this seeming phobia is incredibly difficult to avoid.
Mannerisms
Astar has an extremely raspy voice, though whether this is natural or result of whatever horrible incident left him with his scars is difficult to tell. While he generally prefers to avoid social encounters, especially with people of high standing (i.e. nobility or royalty), he seems to talk relatively quickly when forced, taking very few things entirely seriously. His dark humor seems to focus primarily on death, often making jokes that the party has little to no context for.
