May 3rd - Dellihanna's Family Found

After the battle with the Wyrmwolf, with it being completely subdued, the immediate goal became to find out what was beneath the hatch. Travelling down with Dellihanna we came across a large orb glowing green with a person inside of it who had features that were shifting. As Dellihanna made her way into the orb I grab her hand and follow her through only to find her father, mother and sister chained to stone by green magical chains. Hanna tried to Mold Earth to loose the chains from the stone to free but it appears as though that won't work for some reason. I made my way back to the orb and climb through after a few minutes to gather the group before bringing Wyn and Rein back through to Hanna. Rein indicated I had been gone much longer than just the few minutes I experienced, nearly an hour even, but we made our way back to help Hanna's family. Wyn touched the chains and the green seemed as though it was trying to attach to him before he let go. Rein had the idea to try and use our Remove Curse potions on the chains and it seems as though it worked as the green glowing seemed to dissipate and I immediately began hacking at the chains to try and break them. We freed Hanna's family from their bondage but the world began breaking apart. It's time to go. Hanna takes hold of her father and runs through the orb. I grab her mother and Rein gathers up the sister as we all make our way out through this orb. I shout for some assistance from the metal men who quickly make their way down to and take Hanna's father and sister before taking them up the ladder. I seemed to struggle carrying her mother up the ladder before help is given in the form of Rein pushing and Wyn, who was flying above the hole, having a rope tied around his waist to pull. We manage to get clear of the hole just before there is a large explosion and the room under the ground collapses.

After everyone is safe, Hanna uses some healing magic to try and rouse her family from their current state but none of them wake up, though they do seem a little less worse for wear. I begin speaking with the seeming captain or commander of these metallic men, whom I later learn is named Erik, and work out passage to the Dragon Isles but, first things first, we need to take Hanna's family to Filverel and Everstream back in the Golden Wood. I negotiate with Erik to take us to Golden Wood, as well as the Dragon Isles, by signing a contract with him that my people will make sure he is paid for doing so but first we decide to have Rein try and open the gateway back to Vox's shop, thereby hoping to have a cheaper passage to the Dragon Isles but also getting Hanna's family where they need to be. We wake up the next day to Hanna transforming herself into a horse so that she can take Rein to attempt to open up the portal. Wyn stays behind in the hut of sorts that Hanna made for us to sleep as I leave and find Erik to learn about his people's relationship with mine as they fly the crest of my clan on their ship before helping them load their loot and things they got from the city that was completely destroyed. Hanna and Rein return, having successfully opened up the portal again. I look to Gunther and ask for the cart that we asked to have made should they manage to open the portal so that we could take Hanna's family on the travel to the opening so that they can be taken back to the Golden Wood.
