Personal history
Quincy Stones was born into a tribe of tortle nomads in the northern Blisterstep Flats known as the Moonglade Tribe. From a young age, he showed a natural aptitude for magic, and his parents soon realized that he was destined for a life of great power.
When Quincy was 56 years old, he was taken to the temple of Tsenkher, the moon goddess. There, he was trained by the priests and priestesses of the temple in the ways of magic. He learned to control his innate magical abilities, and he also learned about the history and culture of the Feodrian people. While studying, Quincy became close friends with a high-ranking priest at the temple named Master Oogway. Master Oogway is a wise and powerful spellcaster, and he has always been a source of guidance and support for Quincy. Quincy knows that he can always count on Master Oogway for help, advice, or simply a listening ear.
After six years of training, Quincy was finally ready to leave the temple and embark on his own journey. He set out into the desert, determined to use his newfound powers to help others and to make a difference in the world. Less than a year into Quincy's journeys, he found himself in the city of Uzradah. Quincy, looking for temporary work to support his travels met a young harengon who went by the name of Beeroy.
Both were hired to help a nobleman investigate a series of mysterious disappearances. Though initially pitted against each other, the two quickly became friends and allies, and they worked together to solve the mystery. After the case was closed, Quincy and Beeroy decided to continue adventuring together. As they got to know each other, Beeroy described the tragic circumstances that led to him becoming a wandering adventurer: the destruction of his village, the betrayal of his own kin, and the fear of retaliation from the responsible parties.
When their travels took them north toward the Spire region, Beeroy became quite enamored with the idea of visiting Nightsand Tower, hoping to appeal to the Tower Council to do something about the raid that had taken his home. Quincy was happy to oblige and as they approached the region, Quincy found a throng of eager fans lined up, waiting to thank the young heroes for all they had done across the land. Quincy spent a pleasant day basking in their adoration only to find a very shaken Beeroy demanding that they depart immediately for their own sake. Somewhat confused but happy to know their works were having a positive impact on the world already, Quincy followed Beeroy to Bezokh.
Shortly after their arrival in Bezokh, Quincy and Beeroy found themselves on the wrong side of a band of prejudicial Tower toughs who didn't seem to have heard of Quincy and Beeroy's famed exploits. Things looked dire until a pair of strangers—a dwarf by the name of Bromduhr and a tabaxi calling himself Bold Rain—stepped in and rescued Quincy and Beeroy.
After a few more deeply regrettable hijinks, the foursome narrowly escaped Bezokh and found a temporary hideout to lick their wounds. All four companions were needing a place to lay low, though none of them knew where they might go with very little money and few prospects. After a couple days in hiding, Brom received a curious message from an old family friend. After reading it, he announced that he had their destination: Grasmere.
They arrived in Grasmere and followed Brom's letter's directions to... The Stewed Prune. The place was a dump but the roof didn't leak (much) so they worked to fix it up and re-opened for business a couple of nights ago.
