Uncovering a Plot

Thankfully, Frankel made himself useful for once and enabled me to procure some information from these enchanted skulls. It's seems this mysterious tower was in the control of a powerful magus, when a group of dwarves under the leadership of a Dwarf named Luacrad.
 
Upon the return of Berard's riders our story was confirmed. Much time could have been saved if we were trusted in the first place..
 
We pooled a lot of gold to iongratiate ourselves to the local peasantry in time for the festival of life. Hopefully we'll be able to start charging taxes and make some of it back at some point.
 
We've uncovered an invasion plot. Lady Coralie of Karkon Hold is planning to attack Tysel and retreat, drawing troops away from Tysel so a second invasion can be launched, presumably from Greymarsh. I've split from my friends to warn Lord Berard while the other three investigate Tysel. Preparations for a siege have begun.
