Physical Description

Muscular build; not particularly agile, but can stand up to a lot of damage with a shield in hand.

Body Features

Though still a young man, his hair is a snowy white. His irises are an unnatural white color, sometimes described as creepy.

Physical quirks

Tanebi is right-handed, and when holding a shield will always use his left unless it is not physically possible.

Apparel & Accessories

Tanebi wears modest but well-made clothes, and carries with him the vestments of a monk for official ministry.

Training in a variety of different subjects while growing up in the Platinum Monastery.

First acolyte of the Order of the Platinum Dragon to be chosen as a paladin of Bahamut.

Mental Trauma

Due to losing his hometown to a red dragon attack, Tanebi nurtures a grudge against all chromatic dragons; he outright hates red dragons, however, feeling that they revel in their chaotic evil nature as they ruin the lives of innocents.

Morality & Philosophy

Believes strongly that the strong should defend the weak and punish the guilty. He is also of the mind that the strong should aid the weak into becoming stronger where possible, in turn adding them to the ranks of the strong.

Tanebi is interested in women, though his training at the monastery has left him wary of fey and succubi in disguise, which has meant he is hesitant to court anyone as of yet.

Despises slavery of any kind, even his most hated enemies. Also, while he is capable of great compassion even for fiends, he utterly refuses to take a side in the Blood War, believing it would only add to the suffering of others.

Thoroughly educated in the Common, Infernal, and Primordial languages. Was taught Draconic, and after time spent in refresher courses has finally grasped it. He knows Celestial, but is yet unaware of this.

Keeps in contact with the Order of the Platinum Dragon, and is on good terms with all his mentors. He is friendly to all his fellow acolytes, though some resent him for taking the path of a paladin rather than a monk.

While Tanebi has a number of items that are valuable in practical (and often monetary) terms, he does not keep much in the way of coinage due to the practices of his monastery.

While he has not met with anyone he shares biological ties with, he considers Master Ā to be a mother figure, with the various other Masters of the Platinum Monastery acting in assorted paternal roles.

A devoted follower of the Guardian Bahamut, and seeks to emulate his example of both justice and protection.
