Beri Snow was born to Emayn Snow and Sava Snow in 1469 DR.
 
She set out from home in the first weeks of 1490 DR, going after her father whom she had not seen in almost a month. It was not Harper business, he told her, he simply needed to make money another way as fishing wasn't cutting it anymore with the lake frozen over.
 
Beri was a lonely child, spending most time with her father learning to fish, or with her mother receiving a decent education compared to the other children of Bremen. She did not really even have any friends at all. This continued through her teenage years. Only now, through circumstances forcing her out of home, does she now have anyone she coud consider calling a friend (she is still yet to use the word.)
 
Catti-brie stayed in Bremen in 1483, when Beri was 15. Although her presence in the town was relatively short, she was an inspiration for the young girl. When Beri first set out after her father after his prolonged absence, her thoughts lingered on Catti-brie's courage in braving the Dale.
