Session 055: Ordering Weapons, & John's revenge Report

General Summary

After dealing with the last of the Nether Titans the party rested.

When they woke up John asked Jekkar if he could send him to the Nether Sea so that he could have revenge on Helios.

After much discussion about how to proceed. It was decided to take care of the quicker things first.

They discussed raising Kentimane back from the dead. Hulgnir tried & didn't get anywhere. Jekkar tried & was successful, though the ritual took a month to complete.
Jekkar gave his plane travelling stone to Euadne being suspicious of Oren's questioning on how well Volkan guarded things. Euadne called Volkan to the Prime Material plane.
Volkan was asked about making armorments, he said that he worked his forge now for the divine powers not mortals. He would send some inspiration instead.

1. Pyra: gave his Holy Avenger, Luck Sword, Rod of Lordly Might, & The Trident that he was gifted with when he defeated the Kraken to Volkan. 4 years. (04)
2. Hulgnir: was offered a spear-sword. 2 years. (06)
3. Euadne: epic level robes of the Archmagi. 2 years. (08)
4. Theron: a chakram of epic quality material. 2 years. (10)
5. Ollidak he would make an epic blade of murder for after he succeeded on gaining a divine spark. 2 years. (12)
6. Oren asked for en epic quality gun that could be silent. A pillow was suggested, 6 years. (18)
7. Veronica asked for a lightning bolt. A decade. (28)

It was then decided to call one of the Furies to see if they would be agreeable to John fighting his old enemy, Helios, in single combat. The Fury appeared, greeting the party. She wondered about the sacrifice that would be given in turn. John sacrificed his Cockatrice, Daisy, to them. Even though he had visions of her snapping it's neck in front of him. She accepted it, & gave Jekkar a turning fork attuned to the Nether Sea plane. Just before she went to leave Jekkar asked who she served. She responded with, "As always we serve, Thylea." Jekkar was happy with that.
Veronica argued for saving Sydon as she didn't want to be the tempest divinity responsible for death & destruction, & he was already that.  As well as they knew Sydon, they might not know the next one as well.
Jekkar wasn't sure about saving Pythor & Vallus since they sacrificed themselves instead of staying in the fight & helping.  
Veronica mentioned that, had his siblings not more people would've lost their lives.  Much like how Mytros stayed in the heavens during the battle of Mytros, had she descended more people would've lost their lives.  She could only gift magic within her divine aura which was in the 100's of feet, perhaps a mile.  Not near enough to warrant coming down to fight.  Instead she buffed you & debuffed me.  (It had the sounds of a century old fight between the two.)
John fought Helios, & being immune to fire made the fight easy for John. He was able to take down the Divine Dragon, gaining his divine spark, & putting him at two. Pyra mentioned it to John when he returned. John having gained the Sun as a domain as well as revenge. Revenge now was his major portfolio. The ring of winter was now gone.
When they returned to Jekardt people where talking about where Lutheria & her allies were. Pyra pointed to a location in the sky, & they were off to the Mount Olympus, & the 11 Divine energies he sensed. Some weren't fully divine, like Euadne.

They came onto Mount Olympus & saw the Lost Pantheon, & Lutheria. With a chained up Sydon, Vallus, & Pythor.

Notes

While the month long ritual to raise Kentimane was going on Ollidak went home & was able to convince his vampire-hunters to begin worshipping him.
Then went to every single town on Thylea & convinced the leaders of the Cults of Lutheria to worship Ollidak instead. Then heading to the Lost city of the Siren's (Ultros was sent ahead, Bullbug is now captain), & turning the death cults there to worship Ollidak.

  All death cults worshipped Ollidak currently. And he had time enough to return to Jekardt with Heldig to rejoin the party for their confrontation with the Lost Pantheon.
