Session 056: The Death of Lutheria & Sydon Report

General Summary

The gifts of the Lost Pantheon proved to be negative as once assumed. The halo on Jekkar's head exploded (DEX 24 DC, 20d10 radiant damage), & caused damage to him & Hyakinthos, they both passed their saves.
The shield that the Fire King made for Hulgnir wrapped around his arm, reducing his AC by 3.
Pyra became uglier, the boon of the moon maiden reversed. His CHA dropped by 8.

"In due time." Lutheria, purring, & looking down at a sphere, darker than darkness itself. No reflection, no sound, just a pure absence of all. The air and light around it seem to tremor, as if struggling to flee. You can feel it gently pull on you, like the moon rising the tides. It is floating almost gleefully around Lutheria.
"The Dragonlord Pantheon is here & some of them are already divine. We need that power if we are to compete."
"Trust me." Absently Lutheria.
  Jekkar & Theron both thought that this was very suspicious.
When the Sun Goddess went down Jekkar attacked her to knock her out. He suspected something would happen were they to die.
John took down the Fire King fatally, he turned into energy & flew into the black sphere floating around Lutheria.
  The party saw this & began to start persuading the Lost Pantheon to pause the combat long enough for them to be able to speak to Lutheria. Offering the possibility but not guarantee of divinity.
  The three main Furies come in, the lead one wearing a guantlet with 6 different coloured gems on it. She says to Lutheria that for her violations of Thylea's oaths she is to be unmade, Lutheria laughed as she was disintegrated into nothingness.  
They continue, "Sydon, for violating your oath to Gaius, we three the greatest of the Furies hereby strip you of your divine powers & cast you to the darkest powers we know to hold in their eternal prison."
The head Fury is wearing a gauntlet with 6 different colored gemstones in it, & points at Sydon.
A purple mist starts to forms around Sydon & condensing until it covered him completely. When it disappates there is no trace of Sydon.

  A mysterious being appeared, taking the sphere & disappearing. Hyakinthos tried to stop him & it didn't work. He suffered a bloody nose for trying.
Then AO appeared, & informed them that he would be taking over some things & laid down some rules:

1. No sharing exact portfolios, though one can be have knowledge nature & another knowledge medicine.
2. Technology of a level beyond simple would be banned, & funnel into an epic level dimension.
3. An epic level dimension is now connected to Thylea, (he gives the party a cylinder than allows travel to the epic city, called: Nexus)
4. He gave a divine rank to the party for solving the Lutheria & Sydon issue. He offered more, if they are able to find out what Thylea's brother is up to.
5. He named Thylea leader of the pantheon.
6. He promoted several mortals to new divine posts, some of whom the party had already slain.
7. He told them that they are free to fight so long as mortals don't get affected.
8. Reminded them that they are to help indirectly. Though can be more direct the more the soul is devoted to them.

The Furies turned Lutheria's dust into a gem for Jekkar & Volkan was called to add it to his sword.
The party broke up & entered into their divine realms setting them up. & waited for their items to be constructed.
