She is the only member of the Short Court that has no clear nobility claims.

He has held the highest positions in court for the better part of his life. The rumor is that he was advisor to the King himself before coming to Reboun three years ago.
  • Lady Cathryn Trait
Lady Trait was asked to come to the city to take up an empty seat on the council after Steward Kiossa came to Reboun. She is the only person asked specially to come by the Steward, raising many questions about their relationship, but as far as any can tell they hardly know each other, and they've never been seen talking.
  • Lady Väyryn
Lady Väyryn came to Reboun from Elra and was very helpful in the rebuilding of the city in a way that has reflected Elra's opulence. She is known for having a good eye at court, noticing much but talking about nothing. The only thing that's certain is her commitment to the Church and her friendship with Father Abner.

  • Lord Allistar Bailblight
Lord Bailblight took over his family's house seat after the death of his brother and father in the previous rebellion. They had previously sat as the Advisor General and the Guildmaster of the Swords and Shields, but since Allistar was a well-known wizard he could not claim these positions. He has always had the pity of the court since the members know he should have inherited these titles as well but instead had nothing to comfort him after the death of his father and brother.
  • Lord Fouad (Ford) Ryder
