The people there were kind, all things considered, for deadly isolationists. After putting us through a gauntlet of a trial, a trial by combat, and a trial of merit, they allowed us to leave. Even gave us a blooming spell jammer helm. For free. Perhaps I was too harsh on them in my initial speculation, back in the day.
We fought a strange creature, a dark elf that wasn't suffused with the Darkness, like Andali's are, but shaped of it, molded by it. It almost seemed to radiate from him, as if he were the wellspring, not the repository. The thing within me sang when we fought that creature him. It was like it joined in a symphony.
Saw something strange on our way out. A path to take that looked like it lead to a Thunderer's Coast from another time. The other's thought it was just another potential port of call, but the striations of the cliffside... those are unmistakably Fulminarian. But younger.
