Recap

Greenbloom 18, 3033: Year of Darkness

Approaching the bench of the Judge, the Flamebringers attempted first to persuade the Judge to help them without resorting to violence. Pushing through the souls of the dead, the entered one of the Towers of Judgement, where they beseeched Them for aid.

They did not give Their aid. They seemed to hold some animosity for the Flamebringers, having killed the Wanderer. The Flamebringers ask if They know about the Damnatio Memori on the gods. The Tribunal did not, and scoffed at the idea. If there is something that is powerful enough to cast a Damnatio Memori on the gods, they would know. There was a conversation about creatures created before the Fracture, would they have a Damnatio Memori? The Judge asked if Steven or Jules would like to die to find out. Jules said that he has no intention of dying to maintain the veneer of superiority of a languid god.

The Tribunal explains that a Damnatio Memori requires the assent of all the gods, and it is then enacted by the Archivist, who stores the hidden memories in the Apocrypha of the Great Library. They also explained that there is a delicate balance to Andali between the Divinity and the Apostates, and if either were to strike off balance, Andali would surely slip into chaos. Pharos, moving to say something eloquent that might have swayed the Judge, but felt Mab sway his tongue to something more inflammatory instead.

And so they fought.

Homestead 19, 3031,

We've caught up to the Vagabond in Ignix. He's attending a circus, but has tickets out beyond the Horizon. Says he'll tell us everything if we escort him out there.

At the inn, Valan's brother tried to kill him. I have a bad feeling about him, the other Sildurflame, beyond attempted murder. Another of his group, the ones they call the Pyromancer and the Illusionist. They are more than what they seem. They have Order training, and are likely one of Reharis' pets. I only wonder if Sildurflame knows this.

This is unlikely a coincidence.
