Chapter 2: Verse 4: "We need an Oleg to stand on" Report

General Summary

Our party awoke the next morning and prepared for the oncoming visit from the bandits to collect their "taxes" from Oleg and Svetlana. While looking for hiding spots, Rox noticed a backside of a horse peeking around a tree just outside the trading post and went to investigate. The horse tried to elude Rox as they chased each other around the tree which led to Rox seeing the full horse creature in its entirety; Ximenita Cabótica. Ximentia, being a bounty hunter, received bounties on the party and held Rox at gun point to turn her in. The android centaur, being a construct imbued with a soul, learned from the party that she was hired and received bounties from an actual criminal and evil person named Tartuccio (whom the party has had run-ins already). Ximentia decided to join the party and their quest to complete the charter given by the Swordlord.   The party, along with their new centuar-android friend, set-up their ambush of the bandits who were to arrive that morning. After a short while in hiding, the group arrived but tried to act like simple travelers to pull a ruse over the party. Oleg didn't buy it and the party saw through their facade and tried to move in to apprehend them. The apprehending only ended with them capturing the leader of the group, Happs Bydon, and recruited him into the beginnings of their future kingdom.    Happs told them about the leader of their camp, which is apart of the Stag Lord's network, named Kressle and how she leads the Thorn River bandits. While the Thorn River bandits are in league with the Stag Lord, they do not particularly like being apart of the Stag Lord's new order so they continue to do their own thing while keeping nice.    With the location on their map, they set off towards the camp. But on the first night, they have come across something a bit troubling - The poachers from a few days ago.
