Session #30: Finding the Sea of Tears Report

General Summary

The majority of the party ended up getting swept up by the river, being tossed into boulders and failing to cross. However, a couple of the members were able to get the rest of the party out of the river mere feet away from an 80-ft drop down into a pool of water. They decide to descend the cliff to investigate the pool, and as they get closer they get a growing sense of nostalgia as they get closer. While the rest of the party were much to wary of the pool, Cephos' curiosity got the better of him and he touched the surface of the water. Vibrant memories flashed through his mind, and he stumbled back, sharing only a vague idea of what he witnessed. Shayfax sensed there was a portal under the surface of this pool, and Kythalea got some good information from a nearby oak tree. During their long break there, each person went over to the pool to wade in themselves and experience their own visions. Each were shown something different that was important to them. Some were shared, some were not.

  After their long rest, Kythalea felt a renewed sense of purpose and lead the party through the forest in the direction of travel a woman had been seen going. After some time, they came across a darkened meadow with an armoured figure fighting off a hoard of small creatures by themselves.
