Session 73: Solutions and Problems Report
General Summary
The Scales would spend the next month diligently working on the dillema at hand. A'lar, Adalon, and Ayrien would dedicate their efforts to finding information concerning the Soul Cage of Saellryth the Dracolich and the ritual to alter draconic nature. Indalell and Long Wei would put their efforts into ferreting out the anti dragonists among Amarantine in the hopes of further safeguarding their local dragon population in stasis. Ismaril was busy preparing for her wedding to Sildenaer set to occur at the Spring Equinox and the coming of the new year. This however soon looked to be in jeopardy as the battle with Clan Darkgrove was joined by Clan Viridian.
Sildenaers fledgling Pax Draconis forces were ambushed just across the boarder into former Clan Winds Fury lands. This assault was devastating and forced the Pax Draconis forces to retreat into Clan Starlight Territory. Ismail left her wedding planning and joined Sildenaer on the front. The Pax Draconis forces were defeated again forcing them to retreat to Elanhurthi's tall mountain walls. Witch Clan Starlight now at risk of a siege the Starlit Guard mobilized in full to support the Pax Draconis forces. With this new found support Sildenaer and Ismaril were able to drive back the force of Viridian, winning a decisive engagement. With the front now stabilized, Sildenaer and Ismaril would depart for their wedding.
With A'lars assistance in planning the festivities would be reminiscent of the Spring festival, remarked by many guests as unusual for the Autumnal elven lineage that Elanhurthi hailed from. None the less below the full moon for the new year Ismaril and Sildenaer exchanged their vowes and bonded in the ancient psionic tradition of their distant elven ancestors. The party was raucus as A'lar had intended, the lady Liora would attend as his personal guest from Drakesmouth, as well as Princess Elysia from the Moonfrost lands would accompany Indalell. Retiring to their quarters as the night grew long, Ismaril and Sildenaer would find a large wrapped box upon their bed. Pulling the ribbon the box would fall open revealing A'lar clad in only a snug thong he would wink and blow the two a kiss. Ismaril would glower slightly, "This better be one of his illusions," she would mutter. A'lar would grin, "Gotcha" and vanish in a puff of purple dust leaving only a book behind, written by a Spring Elf in the age of Wonder, discussing the many varieties and ways to experience passion, lust, and physical intimacy.
The last weeks of High Spring would yield great results to the Scales current studies. The Ritual to alter Draconic Kind would move from theory to applicable, but, to their dismay it would only work during a proper alignment of the planets in their system, a millenial event that would not occcur again for 212 years. They would also bring the Chronarch, leader of the Temple of Time under suscpicion of actually being Saellryth, in one of her many disguised over the millenia to hide her undead state and still pull the strings of power. During the final days of their studies, Niniel the Chronarch would take a keen interest in their work, helping wherever she was able, now calling into question her interest in this ritual. Despite this information the Scales thought it best to make ready to head for the ruins of Tallaine and recover the last artifact necessary to conduct the ritual.
