Session 75: Recovering the Soul of an Angel Report

General Summary

The scales moved from the testing room and entered the sanctum of the School of Necromancy. Within they found many preserved cadavers, pickled extremities, and other strange implements of the former schools studies. The room itself could be easily confused for a sacrificial chamber, but instead it was probably used for the draining of blood and fluids from their experiments. A'lar would find a desk with a strange look but be unable to discover its secrets. Indalell with a more practiced eye would find the secret compartment and retrieve their objective. Adalon and A'lar would spend this time collecting tomes of knowledge and other items that may be of value to the re established tower of high sorcery. Longweis attention would be drawn to the teleportation circle they entered form as it flared and 4 Large were wolves strode forward, and two pale men slowly came behind them.  

After a brief exchange the bald vampire would take a martial arts stance and advance quickly upon Longwei. A heavy blow would take the wind from Longwei, but he would slip a grab slamming the vampire to the ground. Kipping up with ease the flurry of blows would continue. The rest of the Scales soon engaged with the snarling were wolves and the last Vampire would send a fireball exploding into the room. The battle was fierce, Longwei was badly injured, and Indalell possibly infected with Lycanthropy before the undead and their minions would be put down. Taking what else they could the scales would make their way back to the top of the tower and escape with Spark back to the new Tower. Here they would rest, treating Indalell with Wolfsbane for his bite and making ready to return to Amarantine to deal with the Dracolich Saellryth.
