A Heroic Wager Part 2 Report

General Summary

{Reviewing the recording of the prior session was not possible so summary is from memory}   This session resumed the combat between the C.U.N.T.S and their evil counterpoints, the F.U.C.K.S. (Federal Unitary Council of Knowledgable Sentries). The C.U.N.T.S. plane was mostly destroyed, with one side being ripped open, one wing gone and the other engine exploded. Over a total of three rounds, all of the C.U.N.T.S. got more injured, Sam stole a drive from C.O.L.U.M.B.O.s body, Hellfire collected a couple of souls, Maelstrom saw the literal army of power suits and heavy vehicles on their way. This shifted the priority of the group from just beating down the F.U.C.K.S. to finding a way to get away.   To that end Maelstrom teleported to the top of the nearest Control Tower and took a bit of laser fire as he worked out an exit plan. It was decided that they needed a plane, so Maelstrom grabbed the pilot and picked a plane. Coyote grabbed Flux and Sam and teleported to the plane where Flux focused on removing Environmental threats and Sam helped secure and start up the plane. Cassiopeia flew over the airport to the plane and Hellfire teleported away from the fight with Amoxi.   The threats to the plane were quickly dealt with and with Cassi and Amoxi flew sentry to deal with incoming threats. As the pilot asked where they should go and they reached cruising altitude, all of the display screens on the plane suddenly came on, playing an in-flight video hosted by the Wolf of Madness, wearing a very skimpy stewardess outfit and Wager Master's face. A break in the grey clouds revealed a clear, sunny blue slightly above them and a similar break in the cloud cover highlighted a dirt airstrip and clutch of camoflauged buildings.   Wager Master congratulated them on seeing the face of their enemies and making it through round one of the competition. He then asked them if they wanted to quit the game and go back home, aware that they would be leaving behind a world subjugated by versions of themselves. Alternately they could stay and play the next round, trying to save the innocents of the world from their own dark reflections. As the plane descended towards the airstrip, Flux doggedly argued that he wasn't a hero and shouldn't have to do this. Wager Master congratulated them on their choice, laughed, and vanished from the screens.
