Session 12: Into the Wilds We go Report

General Summary

Waking up in the hag's hut has mixed feelings for all of the adventurers. Mika finds sweat stains in her bed of different sizes; she believes that she seemed to have changed forms throughout the night. Tak leaves a review, in the form of a drop of blood in his room. After breakfast, in which their host does not appear, the party begins to plan what they will do. During this planning session, the hut begins to disappear.   It is decided that the party will travel through the Wilds to reach their destination, but first they want to stop of the Waterfall Trading Post. They follow the road but spot a storm coming upon them so they decide to spend the night at the Shieldwall Tavern. Archmage Sharreph tells them that Voidheart was apparently made with a powerful necromancy spell but is not necessarily evil. During the 3rd day of their travels, Tak sees Fredrick's ghost will looking out into the rain. Shei and Voidheart had gone to talk to the Baker. Tak follows the ghost and sees it disappear into the earth beneath the baker's shop. He does into confront the man.   Mika and Garuman are back at the tavern where the wizard casts Flame of the Future again, and sees the shadow of a dragon emerging from the mountains to the south.   After being confronted, the baker disappears in the blink of an eye. The search ensues, and eventually a secret passageway is found underneath the bed of the baker. The party descended into a giant work room with a roaring hot oven. They engage the baker who wields an impressive amount of magic; but when a moon beam strikes him, he changes and morphs. Instead of a rotund man, he changes into a massive diabolical fiend. After a tough fight, the party manages to surround him and kill him.
