Supporting Cast
  • Inspector Adamat
This ex-retired cop used to be the best inspector(detective) in Korel. He has been convinced to put his bowler cap back on for various reasons, and has been looking into the inconsistencies regarding the Order of Blinding Light, the Y'Ghatan family, and specifically right now, The Blinders.
  • Liason Banaschar Demidrek
A rather eccentric, but extremely powerful wizard and ranking priest in the clergy of D'rek at their chapterhouse in the ancient city of Korel.
  • Bugg
Bugg appears to be an older, going on middle-aged man. He as lived a hard life, but seems fairly unscathed by it. At first through 10th glance, he appears perfectly normal in every way. He claims to be the last follower of an ancient god of the deep ocean, Mael, and does give off hints periodically that he just MIGHT be more than a boring old man.
  • Captain Iktovian
This middle-aged male Imass is the fourth captain, and in charge of The High Hill district. The issues he deals with tend to be separate from the ones the other three deal with, and while he still interfaces with them and reports to Tarbad, he does so the least and does not have an office at headquarters on the Low Hill. He is a follower of Rake and knew Tierce well.
  • Crook
This Chaotic neutral gnome used to be an adventurer, a rogue to be precise. He now runs a sleazy bar, and is very bombastic and confrontational. Has a shock of white hair and is missing a leg and a decent portion of his nose.
  • Feslin Sengar
A human of Varshian descent, from the plain to the West, Felsin is in her 30s and vey worn down. She is the Captain of the Constabulary in charge of the entire Eastern Quadrant of the city, and has been putting off attempts by The Order of Blinding Sun to usurp her authority
  • Mortal Sword Gruntle Tiger-Bearer
World-weary caravan guard and ex-merc who has been chosen (against his will) to bear the mantle of being the first paladin to the newest war-god this side of the Sea of Wrath, Trake the Tiger of Summer.
  • Hellian Flametamer
Neutral Good Blue Dragonborn has been raising her kids on her own for going on a few years now, after her husband left on crusade. Money is tight and the kids are getting sick, so she was forced to offer youngest child Red to the cult for promises of life to the rest of the family. She feels terrible about this, and is now extremely guilty and also paranoid, both of the cult she made the deal with and the Order of the Blinding Sun.
  • Destriant Iskaral Pust
An extremely eccentric wandering shadow priest, he is always completely obscured by a mantle of dark grey and black robes. He is small and shriveled, never makes sense, and has a "cosmic donkey" as a pet. Actually just Pust from Deadhouse Gates
  • Rhulad Skullhammer
The gruff, aggressive dwarf is Captain of the Western Quarter, which has most of the slums and most shady areas of the city. He tends to bump heads with most people, but especially thinks that Felsin is a pansy and can't do her job. Openly champions deputizing the Blinders to Tarbad.
  • Destriant Sandalath
Mysterious, quiet half-Jahg cleric of K'rul, Sandalath wanders the land seemingly at random. If she has an end goal, Kartker has not been able to determine exactly what it is, although she seems most engaged when taking up a cause.
  • SouSmith
This bareknuckle brawler is a minor celebrity among the lower-brow denizens of the city. He has never been stupendous, but has had a surprisingly long career considering the atmosphere of corruption and gang bosses. Currently taking a break from prize-fighting to help out Adamat, someone who he trusts implicitly, due to a large number of favors done both ways.
  • Tatters
A slightly trashy pink Tiefling who is the only barmaid at The Crooked Cock bar. She is small in all dimensions, but has a quick tongue and sharp mind , both of which she uses aggressively to protect her younger brother from threats he isn't equipped to deal with. Probably a level or two in bard.
  • Tierce Carpenter
By day, a stable, normal construction foreman and father of 5, on his off-time he is also a cleric of Rake, the Chainer of Demons and Slayer of Monsters. He is literally more wholesome than Steve Rodgers (since he is a family man too).  All of this is past tense though, since something got him, and he is now dead/gone.
  • Whiskey
This is a large, red male Tiefling who is the sole bouncer at The Crooked Cock. His horns are wide, sweeping things, closer to what you'd see on a Minotaur or a longhorn bull than your average Tiefling. He is not especially smart, but makes up for that lack with pure orneriness and a desire to protect his big sister.
  • Wu Quon
This half-elven male is the central captain, and has to deal the most with political crimes, diplomacy, embassies, and the richer portions of the city. He is a consummate nobleman and politician, and has always acted as the peacekeeper between the four captains.
