Session Ten: The Sixth Coven & The Shadow Drakes Report

General Summary

As Elaria, Erastus, Daretti and Malth continued their battle against The Sixth Coven, Armitage saw the commotion from the window of the reading room he had holed up in earlier that day in an attempt to avoid Leticia - his ex - and do some research regarding Lucia. Coming to his companion's aid, Armitage dropped an icestorm onto the coven, killing everyone but Ida.   Not long after, the Viridian Royal Army arrived on the scene and promptly arrested the group for committing a massacre on school grounds. Although they were told that they would be able to speak with King Angelo the next morning and receive a fair trial, the party was left to rot in dungeon. This would have been infinitely more bearable if Ida wasn't with them.   To the group's surprise, it was Elaria's brother, Zask who came to their rescue. Zask and his Reptili colleague, Tam, escorted the group and Ida to a safehouse on the edge of The Wick near the old Viridian cemetery. Zask told Elaria he had joined a secret resistance group called the Shadow Drakes who were working to identify and eliminate the traitors in the Viridian government.   Daretti and Malth, both disguised, went to visit King Angelo to let them know the truth about the Sixth Coven. King Angelo brought Vasilisa, the Captain of the Viridian Royal Army, into the room for questioning under a Zone of Truth spell. Vasilisa was outed as a former member of the Sixth Coven and sent to the dungeon for treason. King Angelo rewarded Daretti and the Pals and requested that they stay in town for the ball on the 8th of Estelle for his protection.   Daretti was given exclusive access to the Royal Music Library and learned from Spike, the librarian, of a new music group called Nob Joe who performed at a pub called the Crow's Heart. Daretti invited his Pals to the bar that night and they enjoyed a night on the town. The next day Elaria was fitted for a fancy dress for the ball, Armitage accompanied her and later the two made their way to Shrine of Lucia where Armitage learned more about the goddess of Knowledge, Magic, and the Elements. Daretti and Erastus made plans to see Nob Joe and his band for a jam session. They may have invented metal music.
