Session Six: The Journey Continues Report

General Summary

Still travelling through the Emerald Forest the Pals came across a middle aged scout named Silver making camp along the trail with his dog, Copper. The group listened to his stories about the forest which included being stalked by squirrels, trees with doors inside them and a river monster called Teeth.   

"They say if if he consumes 10,000 mortal souls he'll regain his true form, only this time he'll be even more powerful and ready to take the witch who cursed him as his bride" - Silver tells the origin of Teeth

The following morning, after a wonderful rest, the group was awoken by armored militant squirrels who were looking for Silver. Silver had disappeared without a trace. After the squirrels realized Silver wasn't with them, they fled back into the forest. Later that day, they came upon a river that was covered with beautiful red butterflies. These butterflies seemed to send off a warning: Teeth.   Erastus, wanting to pursue this beast urged the party to follow the beast to a cave which Teeth made it's lair. They confronted the beast and it was vicious, it ripped off Erastus' leg and nearly devoured his soul. Fortunately they were able to slay the creature, sending the spirit back down the river.    Using Ozma's Belt of Teleportation, they travelled back to Nimmie's workshop where she was able to fasten a prosthetic leg to Erastus, and took some time to recover. Using the belt again, the Pals travelled back into the Emerald Forest only to find themselves inside a glade filled with trees that had doors in their trunks. Coming from one of the doors was the sound of music and the group opened the door and walked inside only to be greeted by a well dressed man with slicked back hair behind a bar in an extradimensional speakeasy. He had three words to say to the party:   "Welcome to Nowhere."
