Session 21: Finishing in the Easy Rider Report

General Summary

Cash Arrives

After clearing out the lower floor of the Easy Rider, the party girded their loins, preparing to press upstairs.   As they were about to do so, a familiar figure appeared inside the bar, Cash, who had been about his own devices nearby.   They told him what was going on and he was happy to assist, so upstairs they went.

Up the Stairs

Making their way up, they heard the footfalls cease and started breaking into the bedrooms one by one. In the second they found two individuals, members of staff, who told them about what was in the room at the end of the hall.   The party dismissed these two and prepared to make their entrance, a couple of them sneaking through to the flat roof.   The group attacked and seemed to be gaining the upper hand on the dwarves, however, as the battle looked to be going their way, the Duergar leader floored Tarvy and Miadi with powerful blows, smashing his knee into the ground.   The party were able to defeat the leader, however, and took his notes, money, and other possessions, left the Fixer’s feather and fled back to the Hope’s Hold.

Return Home

Upon returning, they looked at Tarvy’s leg and realised that he would not be able to walk for some time while it healed. Stork offered to help him heal as he had an investment in making certain that Tarvy got back to his feet.   The party rested and, as they awoke the next morning they heard a banging at the door, opening it they found a box outside.   Inside the box they found Finyas’ head, freshly cleaved from his body, tongue ripped out and a note inside stating that this was their first warning.
