Session 18: The Fun of Shopping Report
General Summary
Admin at Home
The party returned back to Hope’s Hold, and, shortly after Remi appeared, informing the group that the other characters would need things to do, and gave you a few jobs for them to do.
The party chose what to do with everyone and then took their rest.
Shopping Chaos
The party then each had their own dreams and awoke feeling stronger.
They set off into the city, with Rukk heading to the tower of Nature and the rest headed to the Tower of The Undying, via the Artifice district for some small purchases.
En route to the tower the group smelt the odd odour of sulphur in the sewers, which seemed to follow them where they went.
Once they reached the artifice district, Gortan made a quick purchase and the group started heading towards the Tower of the Undying. They noticed a flower shop being shaken down by some Red Hands. The group intervened and what followed was chaotic:
- Tarvy stunned one of them with his Hypnotic Pattern and carried him off.
- Thrack grabbed the other and started to suffocate him as Miadi used Hold Person on him.
- Miadi and Gortan went to keep watch.
- Miadi summoned a large fog cloud to confuse the guards nearby.
- Tarvy dumped the one he was carrying and ran back up the alley.
- Tarvy spoke to the guards and persuaded him that there was somebody else who caused the chaos, and persuaded them to go the other way.
The group then, after more issues, stuffed both the guards into a barrel and took them into a sewer to dump them.
The Tower of Undying
The party eventually reached the Tower of the Undying, where Rukk rejoined them and were allowed up to meet with Tobias, who welcomed them warmly into his plushly decorated chambers.
