Session 7: Exploring the Basement of the Temple of True Pasture and Traveling to Arrowmire Report

General Summary

The party explored the basement of the Temple at the True Pasture Sancuary. They discovered some new information about Silvanus and his seals.   Because of the curse that the vargouille placed on Orather, he decided to kill himself. Penny used 2 scrolls of reincarnate to bring Orathar back. Orathar reincarnated into a Drow with charcoal skin, white hair, and pale pink eyes.    Before Orathar killed himself, he wrote down the information about his family:

• His wife is named Miran the Destroyer
• His son around the age of 14 is named Ventak

Asa Grimkelsson made everyone stew for dinner, the party discovered her to be with child and the father of that child died to suicide. When Orathar killed himself, Vanomi took Asa out and they bonded over life stories.    The next morning they were headed on their way to Arrowmire to find a place for Asa to make a living, and to discover more about Jonmar O'Conaire and why he is missing.   On the first day of travel, after Loranys was lost for 8 hours, he found a Human Druid, who was traveling from the Mother Willow, the Circle of Dreams sanctuary, his name is Whisper. Penny and the rest of the party suggested that he heads to Starsummit for sanctuary and to tell the high elders that the portal can only be opened during Highharvestide.   On the second day, Penny leads the party as an amazing navigator and food collector.    On the third and fourth day, nothing happened.    On the fifth day of travel that party encounter, Eclipse, a human druid, who was heading towards the Perpetual Flowers, the circle of spores sanctuary. The party informed Eclipse that the sanctuary has been destroyed and she might find her siblings at Starsummit. Eclipse has heard of Zul and said he hadn't been to Perpetual Flowers in hundreds of years and was surprised he was still alive.    At midafternoon, the party made it to the gates of Arrowmire, where they started to explore the Outer Filth. The party asked about places for Asa to work, and for information about Finbar O'Conaire. The party discovered they needed "ward papers" to get past the gates. They learned they could sneak when the guards were switching their positions, or to forge the papers. Additionally, Lady Ale, also known as Lady Shaydark is in town to deliver two wagons of ale to the Duchess of Arrowmire for a party.    Loranys' decided to use his interesting connections to the Shaydarks to receive "ward papers" his mother may have. The guards told him to come back to the gates the next night after they confirmed that he was indeed Lady Ale's son.    Orathar discovered some more information about his family. The Brigade of the Dragon often travels North with people to witness a ritual and was invited to join them. In addition, he discovered his wife's wedding ring in the pawnshop, the Rusty Scale. Mimche offered him a cookie that was poisoned. So with all the information, he discovered that day, he killed botch Mimche and her husband, Lom Le Bivic. By this time the rest of the party was settling in for the night at Snakeye's.    We ended our session with Orathar stealing the rest of the goods and gold from the Rusty Scale, and about to head out in the dark.

• Go to Klesavaria, Church of the Forest, The True Pasture, the Chapel of Earth, and Perpetual Flowers to Find any more information about Zul Devonshire. And bring any unprotected Druids back to Starsummit
• Find out more about the imbalance and chaos in magic. Go to the Bratrelts Academy of Wizardry and see what the Wizards might know
• Find Tofi Glowgrip and find out how he can help Herbert (possibly at The White Garden)
• Figure out what happened to Lomnabelle, the daughter of the Innkeeper, who was last seen at the sanctuary of Perpetual Flowers.
• Go North to find Orathar's wife and child, who may be sent to be sacrificed to a dragon. (If he lets anyone know about this) (Neverharbor)
• Hunt down and kill Zul Devonshire
• Ignore the Druids and see what happens
• Bring what you discovered to Abubin Jaffré back in Starsummit and/or: Try and find Aubin Jaffré's Grandparents in the Astral Plane.
