Session 1: Meeting at the Forest Report

General Summary

Our five characters find themselves at the entrance of the forest.   Vanomi wandered to the forest because a little voice leads her there.   Orathar wandered to the forest searching for his wife and child.   For 11 days Kinzie has been searching for her friend Penny.   At the foot of the forest, these characters see a strange looking Elf and a dog that seemed to be unconscious.   Orathar examined the Dog and discovered that the Dog could easily be awoken and did so.   The elf was awakened after Vanomi searched their pockets and found nothing of interest.   Before going into the forest themselves, they noticed two farmers and a cart of produce enter into the forest and disappear.   When entering the forest Orathar found a note "Seek and You may Find"   Orathar, Vanomi, Penny, and Kinzie decided to go left when the forest began to look like a maze.   Loranys not knowing who he was, or where he was or what he was doing there, stayed outside the forest.   After plants attacked Orather, Vanomi, Penny, and Kinzie, Loranys joined the group asking what they were doing here and who they are, and introductions were attempted. When Penny introduced herself to Orather, he discovered that there was another name etched into her tag but could not read it. In addition, Orather discovers Herbert who Vanomi claims saved her. Vanomi is very protective of Herbert, the dogs were very excited.   The adventures continued to explore the maze. Loranys and Vanomi went one way, while Orather, Penny, and Kinzie went their own way.   While searching the forest they found 7 other notes:

Loranys and Vanomi encountered more plants and rats. When Loranys casts firebolt, he also shrunk 9 inches. After their encounter with plants and rats, they decided to have a short rest.   Meanwhile, Orathar, Kinzie, and Penny found some treasure, 1 which Kinzie ate. As they continued exploring their own maze encountered their own plant and rat attack. Loranys and Vanomi were close enough to hear the dogs and went to try and meet up back with the group. While Penny used thunder wave, a third eye grew on her head for a minute. While Loranys and Vanomi trying to follow the noise of the dogs encountered their own attacking plants.   They are still in that battle.
