S8 1131 GDC, Arthion into Almedha the 15th day of Zummaer Report

General Summary

The Surger was attacked by a band of Sahuagin marauders, intent on killing everyone aboard. Luckily the party and crew were able to put the creatures down and find their drop off point in the evening. The party bedded down as the Surger went further down river. Over the course of the evening they encountered crab like rock creatures that made the immediate area their home, as well as an ominous singing coming from underneath the water. As dawn broke, the party planned to traverse up the Khiz river using Rowdy as a fish to call out various locations under the water. He was able to spot an underwater cavern. The party drank the potions of water breathing given to them by Pimix and explored the depths of the riverbed. They broke free to the other side of the cavern and to fresh air, encountering a large cavern network and possible home to these crab creatures. It also seemed the source of the singing as a rather large crab moved to speak to the party, introducing itself as Krusba.
